A new, bigger international tournament

Bigger than ever — and now truly international

The 2027 Tournament will be the Rotary Club of Bangkok South's 39th consecutive annual tournament — and our most ambitious yet. We are moving to the beautiful 27-hole Thanya Golf Club in Pathum Thani, conveniently set beside the Bangkok motorway ring road, roughly a 45-minute drive for most of the Bangkok area.

For the first time, this is an international competition. Teams of up to three represent the country of their nationality, with the overall prize going to the winning country and its golfing representatives. We especially welcome strong teams from the international chambers of commerce in Thailand.

The tournament is run to a professional standard with competition organiser Chris Watson and his company Fore Management Group. Teams receive specially printed score cards, captains score online after every hole via a dedicated app, and — with no Mulligans — every team plays closely to the rules.

An invitation to sponsor

Your support, working twice over

We cordially invite you to sponsor our international charity golf tournament — bringing together Bangkok's international business community and local businesses behind a worthy cause. You gain genuine visibility and networking; the proceeds change lives.

How the tournament raises money — in three ways

i.

Entry Fees

With a field of up to 48 teams, entry fees more than cover the cost of the day — the course, food and beverage, and incidentals. Every other baht goes to the Club's charities, particularly our up-country water projects.

ii.

Sponsorship

Every baht received from sponsorship and advertising goes to charity. Because entry fees already cover the costs, your generosity flows directly to those far less fortunate than ourselves.

iii.

The Annual Raffle

Tickets sell in the weeks before the tournament, with final sales and the draw at the prize-giving dinner. Every prize is gifted — so 100% of ticket proceeds also go to charity.

What your sponsorship supports

Real projects. Real people. Lasting change.

Rotary supports its projects directly — with building, equipment, expertise and time, not only money. Here is where the funds go, across more than 30 provinces of Thailand.

A schoolchild drinking clean, purified water

Clean drinking water for schools

Clean water that lasts a decade

Many children in rural Thailand drink untreated water at school — making them ill and impairing their studies. Since 1996 our programme has installed reverse-osmosis purification systems in poor rural schools, each one maintained locally and housed in a shed the community builds and owns.

Kids Day Out

A day at the beach they never forget

Each year we host 200+ handicapped and under-privileged children for a day at the beach at the Royal Varuna Yacht Club in Pattaya. Up to 150 Rotarians, friends and students from Shrewsbury International School help the children enjoy the sand, surf and sun — with lunch and entertainment to round off the day.

Schoolchildren receiving donated library books

Library books for primary schools

Books that open the world

Kits of 120 Thai-language texts — selected by Chulalongkorn University's Sasin Graduate Institute as suitable for Primary Grades 1–6 — are donated to small, poor rural schools with limited library facilities, chosen alongside the local Rotary clubs we work with on water and other projects.

Needy students · the Luang Sit Fund

Four years of university, fully backed

Created in 1964 with the Needy Student Foundation, the Luang Sit Fund lets individual Bangkok South members support a needy student through four years of university. The programme provides Baht 10,000 per student, per year, for students recommended and selected by the Foundation.

Care for the young, deaf, blind & infirm

Standing beside those who need it most

We work with institutions caring for the vulnerable — refurbishing the Sparrow Home kitchen, buying Braille paper and hearing-aid batteries, funding sign-language courses and community rehabilitation, and providing physiotherapy equipment.

Self-sustaining community projects

A livelihood, not just a hand-out

In low-income communities across Bangkok we provide the idea, the equipment and ongoing training to build self-sustaining livelihoods — then step back as the community runs it.

Enhance your brand visibility

Your logo and name are displayed prominently throughout the event, reaching a captive audience of golfers, industry professionals and community members.

An exceptional platform to connect with potential clients, partners and industry leaders — and to build the kind of relationships that last well beyond the 18th hole.

03

Demonstrate your commitment

Showcase your company's dedication to corporate social responsibility and its genuine involvement in the local community across Thailand.

  • Major clubhouse branding — large banners facing the road, plus your name on reception pillars.
  • Reception booth and the chance to engage players directly with a game or competition.
  • Logo exclusively on the front of all ~300 tournament shirts — worn for months and years after.
  • Top billing on welcome & dinner banners, and prominent course signage.
  • Award ceremony — your representative presents the main prize and addresses the room.
  • Co-sponsor a Rotary water project after the tournament — recognised in your own CSR publicity.
  • One free team entry (saving Baht 24,000).
